MA, LMFT
Washington State Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Erica was inspired to pursue a counseling vocation after working three years on an Idaho dude ranch, first as a baker and then as a wrangler. Her experiences there, among a community of transient workers and guests, exposed her to the wonder of human stories—the heartbreaks and triumphs, the quirks and foibles. It was there that she first recognized the honor of hearing what shapes a person, what inspires them, and how they’ve learned to manage life’s challenges.
Personal Information and Therapy Style
After graduating from Antioch University Seattle with a master’s in child, couple, and family therapy, these are lessons she has applied in a range of populations, from a start in community mental health to private practice, from working with adoptive families to working as an ADHD diagnostic clinician. Through these experiences, she has developed the skills to support a wide array of life transitions and mental health challenges.
Erica currently specializes in diagnosing ADHD and serving clients as they wrestle with ADHD symptoms; women as they navigate fertility challenges, motherhood, and perimenopause; parents as they consider the effects of technology on their kids; families as they explore adoption; and people who seek to incorporate expressions of faith and spirituality into treatment.
Outside of her therapeutic work, Erica is passionate about community (she loves a good potluck!), getting outside with her family, baking, and keeping Maybe the dog from stealing food off the counter.
