Personal Information and Therapy Style Jean Eakins, LMFT works with individuals, couples, youth,and families in therapy. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist in Washington State (#LF918), and a clinical member and approved supervisor of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. She has a Master of Theological Studies from The Franciscan School of Theology at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA and a post-graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Presbyterian Counseling Service. Jean's approach to therapy will vary according to the different needs of the particular client. Jean sees life as a journey, with links or connections to other people and systems. She utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and a positive adaptation called Lifespan Integration. Jean balances support and challenge so clients can achieve their goals.
