Personal Information and Therapy Style: Paul has been a therapist since 1975. He began the counseling program for Lutheran Family and Child Services in 1975 and was one of the founders of Lutheran Counseling Network in 1981. Paul’s original training was in Transactional Analysis and Gestalt therapy. He is certified with the International Transactional Analysis Association and is a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. Paul's therapy practice involves working with adults, either individually or as part of a couple. His therapy tends to be more long term, in depth therapy, assisting people in changing some of the fundamental beliefs that they have formed that are not working for them.

Areas of Expertise: Paul works with depression, anxiety, marital conflict, grief, issues of intimacy, divorce, self esteem, spirituality, individuation, and boundaries.
