Treatment Approach
Margaret's approach is individually tailored to each client or couple. She specializes in providing evidence-based therapy that is effective and engaging. She will help you identify the issues you are concerned about and the strengths of character and experience that you bring to these areas. She will help you explore the blocks to the use of your strengths and negotiate and grow through such exploration to new ways of thinking, behaving and feeling. In addition to specialized training in Trauma, Guided Mindfulness Meditation and Hypnotherapy for individuals and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, Margaret also offers Spiritual Direction as desired.

Training and Professional background
Margaret holds a MA from Seattle University and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Member (Psychotherapist) of the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education. She has worked for Lutheran Counseling Network since 2007; prior to joining LCN, Margaret held University positions in academic advising and college placement and in support and education for aging families. Her Post-Masters training is in EFT for couples and individuals, and EMDR treatment for trauma.She currently specializes in attachment, trauma, grief and life transition support, and treatment of anxiety and depression.
