Areas of Expertise Brenda's expertise, training and experience comes from a variety of theoretical modalities, including family systems therapy, and family-of-origin/ developmental approaches, cognitive-behavioral, experiential, guided imagery meditation, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, and group therapy.
Personal Information and Therapy Style Brenda has been a practicing therapist and educator since 1975. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Evergreen State College in 1975 and her Masters Degree from Whitworth College in 1978. She completed her AAMFT Clinical Post Graduate Training in Marriage and Family Therapy through the Presbyterian Counseling Service. Brenda believes that people have an inherent capacity to better understand the problems they face, and in the safe container of the therapy room can identify and implement actions that will resolve their dilemmas, opening pathways to a more fulfilling life. Her holistic approach to therapy will be collaboratively customized to suit the particular needs of individuals or couples.

Areas of Expertise Denny works with couples and individual adults experiencing problems in their relationships including conflict, anxiety, stress, affairs, divorce, issues of intimacy, and marital dissatisfaction. He also works with people experiencing personal problems in the workplace and coaches leaders through challenging situations they face.
Education and Consultation Denny has been coaching and training leaders in the workplace since 1992. He has conducted numerous training programs in leadership development. Denny has also been a trainer and consultant to managers and work teams in the areas of communication skills, conflict resolution, team building and other topics. He is available for executive coaching, in addition to the above mentioned consulting services.
Personal Information and Therapy Style Denny has been a practicing therapist and educator since 1977. He received his Master's degree from Whitworth College and completed his post-graduate clinical training in marriage and family therapy at the Presbyterian Counseling Service of Seattle. Prior to entering the field of counseling Denny received his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Columbia University and served on active duty for seven years as an officer and carrier pilot in the US Navy. He has over 25 years experience as a graduate faculty member, teaching and mentoring therapists. He also has extensive experience as an organizational consultant, teaching leadership development to managers and consulting with work teams.
Denny has devoted his professional life to counseling and teaching others. His primary interest is helping people to grow as individuals and to succeed in the significant relationships in their lives. Denny's principal focus is on helping couples and individuals resolve painful issues and difficult events in their relationships. He believes that caring and committed people can successfully work through their problems and heal emotional wounds by learning to better understand themselves and their partners and by communicating openly with each other. He facilitates couples and individuals in creating positive outcomes to the challenges they face and in forming stronger, healthier relationships. Denny's approach to therapy is integrated from several therapeutic models including client-centered, family-of-origin, experiential, group process, strategic and family systems modalities.
